Make sure you clean your wooden decks regularly. Sweep all debris from it and hose it down. Make sure that any cleaning solution you use doesn’t spill over into the potted plants that you may have around. Be especially careful with solutions that include bleach. Once the deck has been cleaned, just rinse off the solution using a low pressure hose. A high pressure hose may harm soft parts of the wood resulting in a change to its grainy surface.
